La Guardiola vineyards are located on medium consistency soils, almost sandy, and they characterize wines productions by structure, olfactory complexity and elegance. We adopt the most recent agro-ecology criterias, we valorize vineyard system biodiversity adopting green manure and mychorrization techniques and all activities that help the natural ground fertility in order to let grapes express their qualitative potential: for this reason they are harvested and vinified through selection.
Merlot and Pinot Nero
The most adjacent vineyard is characterized by Merlot and Pinot Nero grapes. The high altitude, about 500 mt asl, produces a significant thermal excursion that facilitates an aromatic complexity and the expression of quality elements tied to elegance and delicacy.
